Journeyman: Expected salary range of $61,348 to $74,981 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Sr Journeyman: Expected salary range of $70,551 to $86,230 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position The Journeyman Electrical Service Technician/Sr. Journeyman Electrical Service Technician is responsible for performing residential electrical service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local and national electrical codes. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including service panels, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting. Install new electrical systems and upgrade existing systems to meet customer needs and code requirements. Perform residential Level 2 EV charger installations, including site assessments, panel upgrades, and permitting support. Conduct safety inspections and code compliance checks. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners regarding work performed and recommendations. Complete all required documentation, including service tickets, time logs, and material usage. Ability to be on-call and respond to emergency situations Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Adherent to all safety protocols and company policies. Journeyman: Minimum Qualifications 5 years of residential electrical work experience Valid State Journeyman Electrician License Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state-specific code requirements Proficient in the use of hand and power tools Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime Sr. Journeyman: Minimum Qualifications Valid State Journeyman Electrician License 10 years of residential electrical work experience Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state-specific code requirements Proficient in the use of hand and power tools Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license Ability to work weekends and overtime Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience installing residential level 2 EV chargers
