Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K) to support out F/A - 18 SLM team in Berkeley, MO.
The Manufacturing Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivated a high performing team of employees on the F/A - 18 Service Life Modification (SLM) Program.
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
* Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
* Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
* Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
* Manages, develops and motivates employees
3+ years' experience in a leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
* 3+ years' experience working with or supporting military aircraft
* 5+ years' experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
Experience with F/A-18 maintenance operations
* F/A - 18 Retrofit experience or fleet support
* Experience managing with collective bargaining agreement and/or a union-represented workforce
* Bachelor's degree or higher

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time
Shift:
* This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives
Relocation:
