Our company has recently been awarded a large, multi-year project that will require a full-time staff engineer located at the project site.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with project management, and team member coordination

· Assist in coordinating and the completion of field construction quality control programs, quality assurance, and code compliance activities

· Manage project plans, submittals, and RFIs for relevant team members

· Track and organize field and laboratory quality documentation

· Manage Daily staffing coordination between field and office personnel as well as subcontractors

· Maintain and communicate project schedule to assure timely assignment of personnel to tasks and Inspection Requests (IR's)

· Process reports & upload documents to Procore and Project Inertia document control sites and construction management software programs

· Assist in maintaining project NCR and RFI tracking and related follow up

· Provide support to engineering and construction team related to daily work assignments, attend project meetings, and maintain follow-up correspondence

· Back up support to other team members

· Additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor in support of field operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field

· Familiarity with HCAI, DSA, and California Building Code requirements

· Self-starter with strong resilience, hardworking, focused, with a high level of initiative

· Detail oriented with solid organizational and priority management skills

· Strong organizational and verbal communication skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software

· Familiarity with construction management software programs

· Ability to work under pressure while meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment

· Must contribute to a positive team-based work environment

· Provide administrative support to team leaders and project managers and resolve team-level conflicts

· Ability to provide excellent customer service and professionally respond to questions from clients
