We are currently recruiting a dedicated provider to cover specific dates, prioritizing full coverage for a comprehensive and uninterrupted healthcare service. Pediatric Hospitalist Location: Leland, MI (Vague Geographic Area) Coverage Dates: Specific sets of dates (Full coverage preferred) Maternity Services: Scheduled C-sections, Special Care Nursery Annual Birth Rate: 39%, approximately 600 babies per year Special Care Nursery Level: Level 1 Transfers: DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids (Approximately 3 hours away) - Full NICU, Peds ICU, Pediatric Specialists Maternity Patient Cut-off: 36 weeks, with attempts to transfer to Munson Newborn Rounds: Must round on newborns (average 2-3) Circumcisions: Collaborating with pediatric specialists from DeVos, other facilities, and University of Michigan Surgeon Involvement: Surgeons handle appendix or trauma cases Additional Information This locum tenens opportunity provides a unique experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
