This role blends general obstetrics and gynecology with hospitalist responsibilities, teaching opportunities, and departmental leadership support. Practice Overview:Provide direct patient care in general obstetrics and gynecology Responsibilities include: - Outpatient visits (occasional) - Daytime laborist coverage on labor & delivery - Obstetric day and night call (in-house) - Gynecology call from home (in rotation) - Inpatient nighttime hospitalist duties including urgent and emergent gynecologic surgery Additional duties: - OB triage, labor management, postpartum care - ER coverage and emergency gynecologic surgeries - Inpatient consults and admissions Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students in labor & delivery, operating room, and inpatient wards Participate in departmental administrative meetings and quality initiatives Compensation & Benefits:Base salary: $272,400 - $304,400 Full benefits package including health, retirement, malpractice coverage, and CME Standard Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule About the Area:Sacramento, the capital of California, offers a vibrant blend of cultural amenities, diverse dining, and outdoor recreation.
