Additionally, this role will be responsible for originating new opportunities that are strategically aligned with our business and assisting the team with strategic evaluations of core and non-core businesses. Other responsibilities include staying current on industry trends and monitoring strategic moves of top competitors/industry leaders as well as researching current and future trends in the financial services industry. **The Expertise & Skills You Bring *** 5+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Banking or Corporate Venture Capital * Proven Track Record in successfully originating, negotiating and closing strategic investments and/or acquisitions that delivered strategic and financial impact * Excellent research and communication skills – the ability to gather and synthesize materials on companies, products, industries and effectively communicate findings * Superior organizational and process/project management skills. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams * Advanced analytical, financial modeling and valuation skills are required * Mentoring/coaching and leadership skills * Results-oriented, versatile and self-motivated * Financial Service industry experience is preferred **Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position ****The Team **Fidelity Corporate Development Group is a multidisciplinary team that works closely with all Fidelity’s Business Units and levels of the organization to evaluate strategic opportunities. These opportunities include potential investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic alliances, as well as business unit evaluations and reviews.The base salary range for this position is $110,000-222,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
