Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) that align with plant capacity and sales forecasts. Proactively monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep operations on track. Optimize inventory levels, including safety stock, to ensure seamless fulfillment while minimizing excess. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service to achieve business objectives and enhance workflow efficiency. Analyze production data, track key performance indicators, and generate actionable reports for leadership. Ensure data integrity within scheduling systems and support ongoing system improvements. Order and monitor raw materials to support production plans and minimize downtime. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cross-functional teams focused on operational excellence. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree required. APICS-CPIM certification is a plus. Proven experience in master scheduling within a manufacturing environment (machine shop, industrial, automotive, or similar). Demonstrated ability to solve problems on the production floor and drive results with a sense of urgency. Experience with IQMS or similar ERP/MRP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence and empower teams. Experience in metals manufacturing or high-mix, high-rate production environments. Track record of supporting or leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting. Primarily an office-based position with regular interaction on the production floor. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required. Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000 + 15% Bonus Benefits Offered: 2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.
