Senior Manager, Retention, Product Growth & Monetization
Reporting to the Head of Product Growth, you will strategize and execute on how we go to market with a product monetization and business model that is aligned with customer value.
As Senior Manager of Retention, you'll own the product strategy for improving customer retention across all segmentsfrom fast-growing SMBs to Fortune 500. You'll work cross-functionally to identify points of friction, build proactive sales plays, and ensure customers are satisfied and continue to grow with Rubrik. This high-impact role is responsible for driving customer loyalty and reducing churn by partnering with teams like Product, Renewals, Support, Data and Sales to identify churn signals and scale re-engagement tactics. Rubriks Product Growth team sits within product management and reports into Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer of Rubrik.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product management, and analytics, to reduce churn and drive customer retention.
Create and implement customer experiences that proactively address pain points and reinforce the value our product provides.
Gather the voice of the customer and share with cross-functional teams to help drive necessary improvements from lessons learned.
Empower our Customer Success team by creating playbooks and resources that enable them to have impactful conversations and deliver a compelling value proposition.
Leverage data-driven insights to identify behaviors correlated with churn risks and execute strategies to mitigate those risks.
Collaborate with product teams to influence the product roadmap, advocating for features and improvements based on customer feedback and unmet needs.
Drive continuous improvement by testing, learning, and iterating quickly to deliver value at a high velocity.
You know how to drive monetization and business model strategy from a deep understanding of customers, markets and technologies. You are skilled at financial modeling. You excel at distilling complexity into clear-cut, concise strategy, and are comfortable communicating this in written and visual form. BA/BS degree, top MBA preferred but not required.
~6+ years of experience in pricing, management consulting, investment banking, product management or business operations.
~ Strong analytical skills, including translating financial models into executive-facing content.
