Leading Insurance Defense Firm in Florida seeking driven associates to assist with growth.
We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and experienced Permanent Attorney - First Party to join our thriving Legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to bring your expertise in first party claims, general liability defense litigation, insurance, Naples, defense, products liability, and premises liability defense to a forward-thinking and innovative team. As a Permanent Attorney - First Party, you will be responsible for:
Handling a wide variety of first party claims and litigation matters, including but not limited to, general liability defense, product liability, and premises liability defense.
Conducting thorough and detailed legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal opinions and advice.
Representing clients in court, presenting evidence to defend clients in civil litigation, and managing and directing cases to settlement or trial.
Interacting with clients, claim professionals, underwriting, risk control, and other parties involved in the legal process.
Negotiating settlements for legal disputes and managing all aspects of litigation, including the discovery process, trial preparation, and post-trial work.
Continuously updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in first party claims, general liability defense litigation, insurance, defense, products liability, and premises liability defense.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
