We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our growing team in Prescott, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, fabrication, maintenance, inspections, and repairs of fire sprinkler systems in a variety of settings, including commercial and residential. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations of both the NFPA, IFC and local jurisdictions and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure systems are functioning effectively and properly. Key Responsibilities: * Install fire suppression systems according to design specifications and local and national codes. * Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety standards * Utilize hand tools for fitting and assembly tasks * Thread pipes, rig, plumb and solder components as required during installation, repairs or retrograde processes. * Conduct regular maintenance tasks as per schedule (Annual/Semi-Annual/Quarterly/5 year)* Collaborate effectively with team members and other contractors to complete projects efficiently and safely. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and a clear summary of what work was performed. * Adhere to safe driving practices. Requirements: * 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler fitting * Proficiency in using hand tools and pipe threading machines * Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards related to sprinkler systems * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals * Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all tasks performed * Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and dependable vehicle (you will be required to drive your own vehicle into our office at the start of each day and will then be assigned a company-owned vehicle to use to get to the jobsite(s) for the day). * Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods of time, work on a ladder, and work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights higher than a standard ladder can reach * Willingness to travel in-state - some out of town multi-night stays are required This job is ideal for someone who is: * RELIABLE and adaptable/flexible * Detail-oriented and achievement-oriented * Innovative and willing to learn * Capable of traveling to multiple job sites daily, as well as traveling out of town * Physically capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, etc. * Proficient in using a computer * Has excellent verbal and written communication skills * Can work both independently and with others Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. xmcpwfu The employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
