Purdue Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Darrick Weeks will serve as its new President/Chief Executive Officer. The selection followed an extensive nationwide search.
Weeks succeeds Bob Falk, who is retiring after dedicating 22 years to the credit union, including 16 years as CEO. Bobs unwavering commitment to Purdue Federal and its members has been instrumental in shaping our organization into the strong, service-driven institution it is today. His leadership, vision, and passion for supporting our members, employees, and communities have left a profound and lasting impact. We are deeply grateful for the foundation Bob has established and wish him a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement, says Edgar Cyr, Board Chair. We are confident that our new President/CEO, Darrick Weeks, will lead Purdue Federal into a bright future.
Weeks brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to his new position and has held multiple C-level leadership roles over the course of his career. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of Marine Credit Union. His expertise spans strategy formulation and execution, business and organizational development, digital transformation, operations, process optimization, sales, talent development, and information technology.
It is an incredible honor to be chosen to lead Purdue Federal and build on Bob Falks profound legacy of service and leadership. As we look to the future, I am deeply committed to expanding our impact, embracing innovation, and prioritizing the well-being of our members, employees, and communities, says Darrick Weeks, President/CEO.
Weeks earned his Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Denver and his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Fullerton. Weeks is also deeply involved in community service, having served on numerous boards of directors and volunteer roles throughout his career. Outside of work, he enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife of 25 years, Cay, and their three children.
