Lake Mary, Florida and Boston, MA – Hybrid, Pittsburgh, PA and New York, NY (3–4 days onsite)
Experience:
13+ Mandatory in-person client interview We are looking for a hands-on Java Full Stack Lead Developer with strong experience in modern Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud-native development, and Angular. The ideal candidate will lead development efforts while remaining hands-on with architecture, coding, troubleshooting, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and microservices Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka and MQ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical delivery Required Skills ~8+ years of hands-on Java development experience ~ Java 21+ preferred ~ Strong Spring Boot and Microservices expertise ~ Angular 19+ and RxJS ~ Docker and cloud-native application development ~ Kafka and message queue technologies ~ Relational and NoSQL databases ~ Advanced SQL
