Newport Beach, CA Onsite 4 days a week and remote Fridays once training is complete Pay $28-29 per hour Position Overview: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an immediate opportunity to cover a leave of absence. Key Responsibilities: Process 100+ invoices daily, including both non-PO and PO invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders and apply goods received to vendor bills. Code and book invoices daily, manage weekly check runs, and maintain a supplier deposits ledger. Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP standards. Assist in month-end closing activities, financial audits, and maintain essential financial records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's Degree is a plus Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in accounts payable, preferably within the consumer products or e-commerce industry. Skills: Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (highly preferred). Familiarity with NetSuite ERP systems and or other relevant accounting software. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a large volume of tasks under tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
