Job Overview: Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (CTS APP) Location: Near LELAND, MI Monthly Need: 1-2 APPs Shift Schedule: 10 consecutive days of concurrent night/day shift per month Usually from the 21st to the 1st of the following month Shift Duration: 8-hour on-site, inpatient shift Remainder on-call/coverage On-Call/ Coverage: 24/7 call support Takes first call with a reasonable volume Preferred Experience: Vein harvesting required Previous experience, including ICU Credentialing Time: Start within 30 days to allow for hospital credentialing License Requirement: Active MI license (not accepting IMLC) Prefer Local Candidates: Yes Start Date: January 21 ??? February 1 Job ID: j-190183 Additional Details: The APPs work until their tasks are completed, typically around 3 pm. Usual arrival time to the hospital is between 0600 and 0630. Providers must have an active MI license, and candidates local to Michigan are preferred. The locum will be on call for the remainder of the night once the on-site shift is complete. Billing will be done under the supervising physician. The assignment involves inpatient work only, including OR hospital rounding and ICU responsibilities. No clinic duties are involved; this is an inpatient-focused opportunity.
