Department: Radiology Location: Geneve Destination Campus, floating to Clifton Springs and Newark Hospitals when needed Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 Hour Day Shifts, Weekend Rotation Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000 SUMMARY: As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality, greatly enhances the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. * Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. * Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. * NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. * American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. * Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred. * Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
