We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic team for locum tenens coverage in Ohio, near New Concord. This is a high-priority opportunity, offering flexibility and an excellent work environment for physicians who are available for at least 5 shifts per month. Position Details: Position Type: Locum Tenens, Emergency Medicine Physician Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7 a.m.-7 p.m. or 7 p.m.-7 a.m.) APP Support Shifts: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and 5 p.m.-5 a.m. Workload: Expected to cover 5+ shifts/month Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call: None required Patient Volume: Approximately 30,000 annual visits Number of Beds: 21-bed emergency department Required Qualifications: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA), Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience) Active Ohio medical license (Ohio-specific license only, not accepting IMLC) NRP certification Covid-19 vaccination required Clean background with no history of malpractice claims Additional Information: Start Date: November 1, 2024 Opportunities for long-term coverage or conversion to a permanent position All travel arrangements handled by the organization Why Join Us?
