" Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $50-55.00/hour Location: Carlsbad, NM Assignment Duration: 12 months+ Work Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off rotation Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), holidays and PTO Qualifications: Has entry level tech skills plus advanced troubleshooting skills and diagnostic skills to explain control logic functionality and solutions to system operational conditions/environments that effect performance Ability to acquire entry level integrator skills and use engineering design documents to commission control systems, validate control loops, confirm functionality of control logic, configure end devices, and test alarms 7+ years of Oil Field experience 3+ years of upstream oil and gas automation experience Experience with Allen-Bradley & Rosemount Able to read and understand Cause & Effects, P&ID, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc Intermediate ability to troubleshoot control networks for well sites, well pads, tank battery, saltwater disposal and compressor stations. (ControlNet, Ethernet I/P, Network Switches, fiber optics, RF communications) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with management, technical, and field personnel Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results High school diploma or GED required Responsibilities: Responsible for installation, programming, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of automation equipment Responsibility of maintaining and repairing a wide array of automation and electrical equipment associated with upstream onshore oil and gas producing operations Provide on-site automation support for upstream onshore oil and gas producing operations Serve as technical resource for facility controls systems and field instrumentation including level, pressure, flow, vibration, and other instruments Ensure maintenance activities are executed in compliance with relevant industry and corporate Process Control standards Follow PLC programming practices, standards, and MOC procedures Identify problem areas with instrumentation and control systems to determine strategic improvement opportunities Leverage CMMS, such as SAP, to facilitate the processes of maintenance operations The Bergaila Way: The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
