An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support in a school setting.

This role focuses on delivering occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade, helping them develop the skills necessary to succeed academically and socially. Location: Oakland, CA Position Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate students needs related to occupational therapy in grades K-12. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students specific goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion.

Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with applicable regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student accommodations and interventions.

Qualifications

and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based settings. Proven ability to work effectively with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators and families. Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and educational laws related to special education.

Comfortable managing multiple cases and adapting to evolving student needs.

Compensation
