A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in K-12 education in Columbia, SC. This contract role is designed for a dedicated professional eager to make a significant impact in the school environment by supporting students' developmental and functional needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized OT services to support students' educational and developmental goals. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Assess student needs and adapt therapeutic techniques to optimize participation in school activities. Maintain detailed documentation of services, progress, and outcomes. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings. Knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions relevant to K-12 age groups. Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff. Ability to adapt and respond to diverse student needs and caseload demands. Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and continuous learning.
