A school district in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist to support students across all grade levels, including K-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12. This is a contracted position within a school setting, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation to help improve student outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students. Develop and implement intervention strategies to support academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and support services to students as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on mental health and wellness. Desired Qualifications: Valid licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Strong knowledge of psychological testing, special education laws, and behavioral interventions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families. Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
