We are seeking a motivated and analytically driven Portfolio Analyst to join a growing wealth management team in the Richmond area. This is a direct-hire, long-term opportunity designed for candidates who want to build a career in investment management.

This role offers a clearly defined advancement path with structure, mentorship, and hands-on exposure, progressing from Portfolio Analyst → Senior Portfolio Analyst → Portfolio Manager .

Support portfolio managers with investment analysis, research, and reporting
Analyze portfolios for asset allocation, performance, and risk
Assist with portfolio rebalancing, trading, and model updates
Prepare investment commentary, performance reports, and client-facing materials
Collaborate with advisors and senior analysts to support client investment strategies
Learn firm investment philosophy, processes, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Interest in investments, markets, and portfolio management
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Motivation to grow into a senior investment role over time
