Generative AI / Backend Developer
Remote (US-Based)

Our client, a cutting-edge startup focused on AI-driven application security, is looking for a Generative AI / Backend Developer to help build next-generation security automation solutions. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team where your contributions will directly impact product direction, architecture, and customer success.
What You'll Do
- Design and build backend systems that integrate with Generative AI models and APIs
- Develop scalable SaaS products that automate complex security workflows
- Work with emerging AI technologies and stay current with the latest research
- Optimize containerized deployments across cloud and on-prem environments
- Influence technical decisions and shape backend architecture
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineering leadership
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of software development experience
- Strong backend experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar technologies
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Graph databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models
- SaaS platform development experience
- Understanding of application security concepts
- Excellent communication skills and a startup mindset
