Permanent Gastroenterologist Position in Ashtabula, OH Ashtabula Regional Medical Center in Ashtabula, OH is seeking a Permanent Gastroenterologist to join our growing multi-specialty group practice. With over 60 employed providers including 21 in Primary Care, you will have the chance to be part of a well-established team. Our facility is a fully accredited 186-bed acute care community hospital which is recognized for quality and patient safety by various national organizations. As the only full-service hospital serving a regional population of approximately 98,000, we pride ourselves on our comprehensive healthcare offerings, including 5 community-based family health centers. Job Responsibilities See 15-20 patients per day (non-negotiable). Provide outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine services. Work within a team of 2 physicians. Manage a high-volume office practice. Collaborate with an experienced Urologist. Supervise a fully trained staff, including an Advanced Practice Provider. Utilize blocked OR time for procedures. Work with a fully integrated EMR system with the Cleveland Clinic (EPIC). Receive referrals from our employed and affiliated Primary Care Physicians. Access onsite lab and X-ray services. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required). Ohio medical license or in the process of obtaining one (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by start (required). Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of presentation, required). DEA certification must be obtained prior to starting (required). Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate. Open to J1 or H1B visa candidates. License and Certification Requirements Possess a valid Ohio medical license (or in process). Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology. BLS and ACLS certifications. DEA certification.
