Title: Director, Financial Services Advisory Commercial Insurance Company: Guidehouse The Director, Financial Services Advisory Commercial Insurance is a senior leadership role within Guidehouses Commercial Financial Services sector, responsible for managing large insurance industry accounts across business development, relationship management, staff development, client delivery, and internal operations. Key Responsibilities Lead business development efforts within clients by identifying opportunities, capturing new business, reviewing proposals/SOWs, and guiding pricing. Serve as senior account leader responsible for expanding our presence in accounts, overseeing delivery, contract compliance, corporate compliance, and financial management. Become a recognized insurance expert within the team, accounts, practice, and clients, synthesizing, mobilizing, and implementing solutions that enhance Guidehouses reputation and penetration in the insurance industry. Maintain a relentless focus on growing contributions to client success within the firms operating framework and business imperatives. Model courage, resolve, and fortitude, making sound decisions in the face of significant challenges. Drive transformational change by challenging teams to optimize immediate-term and long-term solutions with clients or within Guidehouse. Engage, mentor, and inspire the account team to achieve continuous improvement. Review and analyze monthly contractual revenue and expenses, and lead the account team planning and budgeting process with the practice leader. Guide and mentor team members and support performance assessments. Provide input on staffing plans, talent acquisition, and retention. Facilitate meetings and updates between functional teams and account leadership. Provide onsite leadership presence in corporate and client offices. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree. 10+ years of professional experience in the insurance industry with a combination of recent consulting leadership experience and inhouse industry experience. Deep knowledge of and network within the commercial insurance industry. Ability to build and manage a book of business in the $2M$20M range. Expertise in technology and operations optimization. Experience in business process improvement, automation, and change management. Experience in business architecture and operating models. Proficiency in Project Management practices. Experience supporting longterm, largescale contracts, including capture management, pricing, ongoing compliance, and project management. Solid understanding of engagement economics and budgeting. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preference given to NYC Metro area candidates; DC area candidates may be required to travel to NYC up to 75% of the time. Nice to Have Masters Degree in a related field. PMP certification. Experience leading a largescale technology implementation. Compensation Annual salary range: $197,000.00$328,000.00.
