Financial Reporting Manager | Chicago, IL
Our client, a well-established and publicly traded professional services organization, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their Corporate Accounting & Reporting team. Financial Reporting Manager

Own preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Support consolidated and statutory audits and manage external auditor relationships
Lead technical accounting research and draft position memos on complex topics (leases, equity, goodwill, business combinations, impairments, revenue, debt/equity)
Monitor new accounting standards and guide implementation across the organization
Oversee equity accounting, including stock-based compensation and valuation coordination
Support M&A activities including purchase accounting and post-acquisition integration
Strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX and audit readiness
Drive reporting process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, HR, IT, and senior leadership
Mentor and guide accounting team members on technical matters

Qualifications: xrczosw Financial Reporting Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Big 4 or national public accounting firm experience strongly preferred
Experience in public-company reporting and technical accounting
Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proven experience drafting technical accounting memos
Advanced Excel and consolidation-system experience #INDEC2025#ZRCFS #LI-LF1
