About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Content Writer to develop high-quality, practical and engaging training content for corporate compliance and workplace learning programs. The ideal candidate should have strong content-writing skills and a good understanding of Indian workplace laws, corporate ethics, employee conduct and compliance requirements . Experience in creating training modules, facilitator guides, presentations, case studies, assessments and e-learning content will be an advantage. Key Training Areas The writer will be required to develop content across some or all of the following areas: POSH – Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Business Ethics & Anti-Bribery / Anti-Corruption Workplace Health, Safety & Well-being Fire Safety & First Aid Managerial / People Manager Compliance Annual / Mandatory Compliance Training Code of Conduct and Workplace Behaviour Employee Awareness & Compliance Culture

Key Responsibilities
Research and develop accurate, current and India-specific compliance training content . Create engaging training presentations, learner guides, facilitator notes and participant handouts . Develop real-life workplace scenarios, case studies, role plays, examples and quizzes . Convert complex legal and compliance requirements into simple, practical and employee-friendly learning content . Develop content for different audiences, including employees, managers, HR teams and leadership . Ensure content reflects applicable Indian laws, regulations and accepted corporate practices . Create knowledge checks, assessments and post-training quizzes . Review and update existing training material whenever laws, regulations or organisational requirements change. Work with the training/L&D team to incorporate feedback and deliver content within agreed timelines. Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, learning objectives and instructional structure across modules. Desired Skills & Experience 3–7 years of experience in corporate content writing, L&D content development, compliance training or instructional design . Strong understanding of Indian corporate/workplace compliance . Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to simplify legal and regulatory concepts without compromising accuracy. Strong research, analytical and content-structuring skills. Experience creating PowerPoint-based training content, e-learning modules, facilitator guides and assessments . Ability to write in an engaging, conversational and business-friendly style. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design will be an advantage. Legal, HR, compliance, L&D or corporate training background will be preferred. Deliverables Depending on the project, deliverables may include: Training decks / PPTs Participant workbooks Facilitator / Trainer Guides Case studies and workplace scenarios Quizzes and assessments Knowledge checks E-learning scripts Awareness communications Annual compliance training modules Content updates and revisions Engagement Model Freelance / Project-Based The engagement can be structured per module, per training programme or on a monthly retainer basis , depending on experience and volume of work.
