Job Title: Durability CAE Engineer Location: Newark, CA (Onsite) Duration: Long-term Contract We are seeking a Senior Durability CAE Engineer with strong expertise in structural analysis, fatigue assessments, and durability engineering for vehicle subsystems. In this role, you will lead durability evaluations for components such as suspension, body structures, powertrain, closures, interiors, battery pack, seating, and exterior systems. The role involves conducting CAE simulations, supporting physical testing, and providing design recommendations to improve vehicle performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, participate in test correlation, and contribute to method development and process improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in vehicle-level CAE durability analysis and testing. Strong skills in structural mechanics, materials, and fatigue theory. Proficiency in CAE software, including: ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperView, MetaPost OptiStruct, HyperWorks, ADAMS nCode DesignLife or similar tools Experience in defining performance requirements, deriving load cases, and developing validation/testing plans. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
