Neonatology Physician

Join a prestigious team of 10 neonatologists and 5 neonatal nurse practitioners in Roanoke, Virginia, serving as either the NICU Medical Director or Associate Medical Director at a top-tier regional perinatal center. What You ll Do: Provide expert care to critically ill newborns in a 60-bed regional Level IV NICU and a 6-bed Level II NICU Lead or support NICU operations, driving clinical excellence, quality improvement, and operational success Manage advanced therapies including high-frequency ventilation, whole body cooling, and nitric oxide therapy Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialists, maternal-fetal medicine, and pediatric surgery teams Participate in medical education with Virginia Tech School of Medicine students and residents Engage in quality initiatives and research through the Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative Provide clinical coverage including day shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as needed Serve as a key leader in hospital committees and contribute to strategic planning Why Roanoke, VA?
