Exciting Opportunity: Dermatologist Needed to Launch New Department with group on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA Join a thriving, physician-owned internal medicine practice expanding into dermatology Established in 2008 and located in the highly desirable area, this privately owned internal medicine group is growing. They re seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to lead the launch of their new dermatology department. About Them: Their team includes seven experienced internal medicine providers (five physicians and two nurse practitioners) who deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Due to growing patient demand, they re expanding into dermatology and they re looking for a motivated physician to help build this service line from the ground up. What They Offer: Immediate internal referrals from our established patient base Dedicated dermatology space in our current facility, with future plans for a standalone dermatology center Minimal on-call responsibilities (phone support only) Well-supported environment with trained staff, EMR, billing, and scheduling in place Flexible Monday Friday schedule (option for 4 or 4.5-day workweek) Patient volume: 2 3 new or 3 4 established patients/hour, adjusted to your comfort Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: $350,000 $400,000 Productivity bonuses; earning potential of $800,000+ Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match Malpractice with tail coverage, CME allowance, license reimbursement Generous PTO and holidays Student loan repayment assistance available Ideal Candidate: Passionate about dermatology and patient care Strong clinical and communication skills Willing to grow with the practice and help expand into cosmetic/laser services Clean malpractice and licensing history Location Highlights: The area offers top-rated schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and access to Atlanta s cultural and recreational amenities.
