Perform work quality checks and monitor machine output. Essential Functions Reasonableaccommodationsmaybemadetoenableindividualswithdisabilitiestoperformtheessential functions. Worksafelyandbeactivelyengagedinsitesafetyprograms. Startingupextruder,monitoringmaterialflowandadjustingextruderequipmentforproduction. Makingextractionprocessadjustmentstocontrolsheetoutput. Provide maintenance or calibration of machine to ensure material is running properly. Safely operate a Forklift and overhead crane to move material or equipment as needed. Excellentattendance&punctuality. Maintainacleanworkenvironment. Cross train in other areas and performotherdutiesasassigned. RequiredSkillsand Abilities Basic math skills Mechanically inclined, understanding of hand tools and quality tools (i.e. screw drivers, hammers, calipers, tape measurer, etc.) Detailed oriented, organized, and motivated Ability to understand spoken and written English Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Physical Requirements Thephysicaldemandsdescribedherearerepresentativeofthosethatmustbemetbyanemployeetosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. Workisperformedinafactorysetting. Prolongedperiodsstandingandperformingrepetitivetasks. Regularlifting,sometimesuptoThirtypounds with occasionally up to 50 pounds. Frequentbending,reaching,andlifting. Mustweargloves;eyeandearprotectiononlyinmarkedareaswhererequired. Composite or Steel-toe shoes are required. PreferredEducationand Experience HighschooldiplomaorequivalentGED Experienceworkingwithprofiledextrusionandsheetlineexperienceaplus.
