The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's day-to-day operational functions. This role ensures facilities, fleet, vendors, office operations, records, and organizational systems are effectively managed to support agency goals and a safe, efficient work environment. The Director partners with senior leadership to improve processes, manage resources, mitigate operational risk, and support organizational growth.
Provide leadership and oversight of agency-wide operations and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems that promote efficiency and accountability
Manage operational budgets, expenditures, and opportunities for cost savings
Oversee facilities, leases, maintenance, relocations, vendors, and property management relationships
Manage fleet, insurance, vehicle maintenance, equipment, and organizational assets
Oversee records management, contracts, document retention, and operational risk management
Support regulatory, contractual, insurance, and safety requirements
Lead business continuity and emergency preparedness efforts
Oversee office administration, supplies, equipment, and operational needs across agency locations
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three or more years of progressive experience in operations, facilities, administration, business management, or a related field
Strong organizational, project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong relationship-building skills and professional judgment
Ability to travel between organization locations as needed
Active, on-the-go role with a mix of office and field-based responsibilities
