About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Managing Director to lead its global investment-grade fixed income platform. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of investment-grade fixed income markets, including public corporate credit, structured products, and investment-grade private placements. This role is pivotal in establishing and executing global credit strategies that align with the company's liability-driven investment philosophy, optimizing risk-adjusted returns, and ensuring the performance and risk management of the investment portfolio. The Senior Managing Director will also be responsible for leading a high-performing global organization, driving innovation, and modernizing the investment platform through the application of technology, data, and artificial intelligence. Applicants must have a strong educational background, with an MBA or a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a CFA or significant progress towards it. A minimum of 10 years' leadership experience is required, with a proven track record in leading large, globally distributed investment teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The role demands exceptional strategic leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to influence and partner with executive leadership, boards, regulators, and external partners. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong commercial acumen, capable of balancing innovation, risk management, and long-term value creation, and will have a strong understanding of insurance company investing, including regulatory and accounting considerations.
