The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for generating mortgage loan business through external sources such as real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and past clients. This role involves originating residential mortgage loans, guiding clients through the loan process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This is a commission plus bonus position.

Originate and process residential mortgage loan applications in compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and real estate professionals to generate leads and build a pipeline of business.
Interview prospective borrowers to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
Collect and analyze applicant financial information, including income, assets, debts, and credit history, to determine loan eligibility.
Provide outstanding customer service throughout the loan process, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Stay current on lending products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to overall team performance.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field preferred; Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mortgage loan origination.
Valid NMLS registration and state Mortgage Loan Originator license(s) required.
Proven track record of successful loan origination and sales performance.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
Encompass, Calyx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
