Controls Monitoring Technician 3 Month contract w/extensions possible Dec 1 - Feb 28 On Site Greensboro, NC 27498$38 - $42/hr, Overtime is paid out 1.5x 50 hour weeks 2 Shift options: Wed - Sun 6pm - 4am Fri, Sat, Sun 8am - 6pm + Mon, Tu 6pm - 4am Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K An industrial conveyor company is looking for 2 night shift (1 night, 1 50 / 50 Day Night) Electrical Controls Monitoring Technician in the Greensboro, NC area for an immediate start date. The Controls Monitoring Technician will be stationed in a shipping facility in the HMI enclosure and will work with the conveyor maintenance crews to identify and resolve jams, oddities, and use the existing system's PLC software as a troubleshooting tool. They will have remote support from another engineer at the Denver headquarters to assist with troubleshooting. Candidates must have experience of troubleshooting Industrial Electrical Systems, and be able to report any issues to the engineering group while monitoring the project. All work will be done at a desk in their office spaces on a company provided computer. This is a 3+ Month contract in support of an ongoing 2+ year program with extensions somewhat likely. The schedule is EITHER Wed - Sun 6pm - 4am OR Fri, Sat, Sun 8am - 6pm + Mon, Tu 6pm - 4am), about 50 hours per week. Must Have 2+ years in an Industrial electrical maintenance/troubleshooting background Familiar with troubleshooting PLC Understanding of plant machinery and processes Comfortable working a night shift Plus Material handling system experience 2+ years' experience as a Controls Technician or Engineer Experience troubleshooting Controls Ladder Logic
