Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Chief Pilot at Texas Southern University. The Assistant Chief Pilot will be responsible for overseeing daily flight operations, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, managing flight crew schedules, and maintaining aircraft safety. xrczosw Additionally, the Assistant Chief Pilot will provide training and guidance to student pilots and assist in the development of aviation curriculum. Qualifications Extensive experience as a pilot, preferably with experience in flight instruction Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and aviation safety procedures Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in managing flight crew schedules and coordinating flight operations Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic aviation environment Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field FAA certifications, such as Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), are highly desirable Experience with flight simulator training is a plus
