Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) supports Johns Hopkins' focus on research, teaching and patient care, and its role as a national and global leader in higher education. We create and foster enduring relationships that result in advocacy and philanthropic support for Johns Hopkins University & Medicine—strengthening the institution through partnerships with donors, alumni, volunteer leaders, faculty, students, staff, and patients.

Employees who travel on university business can count those days towards their onsite days.
Founded in 1979, the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) is a center for innovation dedicated to advancing the field of gifted education through research on testing, programs, and other supports for advanced learners. On the premise that advanced learners come from every community and every demographic, we aim to understand and inform how these students need to be nurtured to achieve their full potential as learners and global citizens. CTY also runs in-person and online academic programs for bright learners in order to cultivate a community of advanced learners and connect students in and outside the classroom.
The Associate Director of Constituent Relations is responsible for direct outreach and engagement of alumni, parents, and friends of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). This role will help ensure frequent constituent interactions with the organization to support the growth and future of the success of CTY.
