At Residential Home Health and Hospice ('Residential'), we're looking to add to our extraordinary care team. Grounded by our belief that outstanding care is best delivered in a team-based environment, our Hospice Music Therapist will partner with our field staff and leaders to provide the best support to the patients that we serve.

* Company paid emotional health and wellness support for you and your family
* Provide consistent professional music therapy in accordance with company protocols and accepted certification practices
* Effectively inform and educate our patients, staff, and facility partners about music therapy
* Establish therapy objectives as part of the patient assessment
* Plan, review, and assess therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness and to aid in the planning of subsequent sessions
* Take an active role in sessions by playing instruments, singing, and listening
* Encourage patients to take part in the session and support them by responding musically and improvising with music as a reaction to what the client is communicating to give comfort during the last stages of life
* Support the patient's creative development and facilitate positive changes in their behavior and well-being
We are looking for compassionate Hospice Music Therapist with:
* Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
* Certification Board for Music Therapists
* State music therapy licensing where required
* At least six (6) months of work/education experience with geriatric health care
* At least six (6) months of work /education experience with end-of-life/terminal illness health care
