A K-12 school in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their contracted staff for the current school year. This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to students across all grade levels to enhance their educational experience and promote independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapy sessions tailored to each students unique requirements
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and school policies
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings
Strong understanding of pediatric therapy, particularly within K-12 education
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
