Location: Orlando, FL Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm Schedule: Monday to Friday Salary: $22/hr - $24/hr Description: We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Materials Handler / Warehouse Associate (Aviation industry) to join our logistics and operations team in Orlando. This individual will be essential in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials meet strict quality standards and comply with industry and internal regulations. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment where accuracy, efficiency, and a strong sense of responsibility are key. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough inspections on all inbound and outbound parts/materials. Verify parts and documentation for accuracy against purchase and repair orders. Ensure adherence to the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Utilize computer systems to input and validate inventory data. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on continuous improvement initiatives. Package and ship merchandise in compliance with safety and customer specifications. Manage warehouse functions such as unloading, labeling, stocking, order picking, and cycle counting. Process air waybills, documentation, and schedule carrier pickups. Photograph and digitally archive parts and documentation for internal systems. Communicate with internal teams to address any discrepancies or shipment issues. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or aviation parts processing preferred. Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations. Basic understanding of ISO/AS Quality Standards is a plus. HazMat certification and ESD awareness are advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with inventory or shipping software (e.g., ShipStation) preferred. Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Comfortable operating warehouse vehicles and handling equipment. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments. Flexible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
