Company: TEK-IT Location: St. George, UT Pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience) About Us: TEK-IT is a premier electrical and home automation company specializing in mid to high-end residential projects throughout Southern Utah. We design and install cutting-edge systems that integrate lighting, automation, audio/video, surveillance, and more — creating some of the most exciting and rewarding projects in the area. About the Role: We're seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in residential electrical installation, takes pride in craftsmanship, has a strong work ethic, and the desire for growth and learning. Responsibilities: * Perform electrical installations for custom residential and automation projects. * Work closely with project managers and integration technicians to ensure seamless system performance. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues. * Maintain compliance with Utah electrical codes and safety standards. * Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices and team members. Requirements: * Active Utah Journeyman Electrician License (required). * Minimum 3+ years of residential electrical experience. * Experience in high-end residential or home automation environments preferred. * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and professionalism. * Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other diagnostic equipment * Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical installations * Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications * Previous experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential Benefits: * Competitive pay based on experience ($30–$40/hr). * Exciting, high-profile projects in luxury residential environments. * Supportive, professional team culture. * Opportunities for advancement as TEK-IT continues to grow. * PTO and PTO for approved holidays This role provides an excellent opportunity for qualified electricians eager to apply their expertise across diverse projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
