Spay and neuter veterinary position offering opportunities to specialize in a specific type of surgery while making a significant impact on animal welfare. We will perform surgeries 4 days a week. Days to be determined with candidate. Key aspects of this position: *Focus on Surgery:*These positions prioritize surgical expertise, particularly in spay and neuter procedures.*Location:*This mobile clinic will operate at various locations in the general Houston area. Responsibilities: Performing spay and neuter surgeries on cats and dogs throughout the Houston area.Providing pre- and post-operative care.Managing anesthesia and pain relief during procedures.Monitoring and managing complications.Managing the DEA drug log as filled out by techs Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree.State veterinary license.Strong surgical skills, particularly in spay and neuter procedures.Familiarity with veterinary anesthesia and monitoring equipment.Experience with veterinary management software.Effective communication and teamwork skills.
