Coinbase Institutional Sales Team is dedicated to empowering institutional clients by providing tailored solutions that leverage Coinbase's comprehensive suite of cryptocurrency products and services. Team members engage with a diverse range of clients, including businesses and advanced retail traders, to identify their unique needs and demonstrate how Coinbase can meet them. Responsibilities include prospecting potential clients, supporting senior sales efforts, and nurturing existing relationships to drive growth and enhance client satisfaction. With a strong emphasis on market intelligence and collaboration across various departments, the team plays a crucial role in positioning Coinbase as a leader in the rapidly evolving crypto landscape. Sales Support:*Assist senior sales team members in all phases of the sales cycle, including preparing presentations, proposals, and client-facing materials. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
~ Support ongoing relationships with existing clients, addressing inquiries, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling in collaboration with senior team members.
~ Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments within the crypto space. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to ensure a cohesive client experience and achieve collective goals.
~ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall client journey.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
~3+ years institutional sales experience at a Tier 1 Exchange or Financial institution.
~3+ years of experience managing a client portfolio including institutional clients, high-net-worth individuals, private banking clients, and clients from brokers, futures institutions, or commercial banks.
~ Proficiency in G Suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
~ Prior experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a client-facing role (even internships) is beneficial.

Active participation in crypto-focused communities (e.g., Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord, Telegram).
Experience using Coinbase or other cryptocurrency products.
Basic understanding of financial markets, trading, or Web3 concepts.
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility**+ benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
