Mechanical Engineering Project Manager

SharkNinja is looking for a self-motivated Senior Technical Project Manager (STPM) to join the NPD group.
The STPM is the 'glue' within the team, aligning project direction and decision points with key members from all business disciplines and will work as a partner to the design manager/engineers with joint responsibility for delivering NPD product(s) to market.
The STPM is responsible for the 'WHAT' that is being delivered, design manager/engineers are responsible for 'HOW' this is delivered.
The candidate will be also able to support the project team on some technical activities. Ensure global teams are aligned on project direction (right product)
* Ensure project schedules are up to date, progressing to plan and meet retailer requirements (right time)
* Ensure global teams are up to date on project status and key issues/risks (stakeholders bought in)
* Work as a part of the Engineering/TPM team.
* Significant experience of managing a project through the entire lifecycle
* Experience in budget management
* Experience in plastics or consumer goods household appliances desirable
* Uses Microsoft Office Suite to a high level.
* Flexible and collaborative - these are key to success at SharkNinja.
* 5+ years' experience in project management or engineering role - project management experience preferred
* Experience of managing a project(s) through the entire lifecycle - preferably plastics or consumer products experience
* Engineering background
* Skilled in Microsoft office user, including Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience in regular presentations to senior stakeholders - board of directors/executive team experience desirable
* Experience in budget management desirable but non-essential
