Position Summary:

A rapidly growing educational organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to joing their FP&A team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Assist in evaluating business initiatives, investment opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to automation efforts for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Excel proficiency is a plus
  • Experience with financial models
