Deliver specialized instructional support as a Special Education Teacher serving K-12 students in an engaging academic environment. This full-time contract position is located in Accomac, VA, offering multiple openings for both elementary and middle school levels. Candidates will work in inclusive classroom settings as well as self-contained environments, collaborating closely with paraeducators to provide tailored support that meets diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
Virginia Special Education (SPED) Licensure required
Must hold certification for Elementary and Middle School levels
Provisional licenses are not accepted
Job Details:
Start date: ASAP
Full-time, Monday through Friday
Elementary Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Middle School Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Contract term: Current School Year (CSY)
Responsibilities include designing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering differentiated instruction, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with educational teams and families
