Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students with Emotional Disorders in Chicago, IL. This full-time, contract position offers a collaborative environment with self-contained classrooms that include at least one classroom aide to assist in delivering tailored instruction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with emotional and behavioral challenges Create a supportive and structured learning environment to meet students' social, emotional, and academic needs Collaborate with classroom aides, families, and support staff to ensure prehensive student support Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Maintain pliance with state and federal special education regulations Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with special education endorsement Experience working with high school students, preferably those with Emotional Disorders Strong classroom management and munication skills Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team mitment to fostering inclusivity and student growth Location: Chicago, IL (High School setting) Benefits include petitive weekly pay and options for medical, dental, and vision coverage.
