Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/12/2026- Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one year of CT and X-ray experience, ARRT certification, and proficiency with Epic EMR for an acute care assignment. Responsibilities - Position based in an acute care setting with responsibility for general X-ray and computed tomography - Work involves usage of 2 X-ray rooms, 1 CT room, 2 portable units, and 2 c-arms - Siemens 64-slice CT, Shimadzu rooms, GE c-arms, and Fugi/ Shimadzu portable units are used - Epic EMR, Novarad PACS, and CRTIS are used in the department - Shift is a rotating day and night schedule with 8-hour shifts - Potentially required to float and provide coverage in ER, OR, Med Surg, and PACU within scope - Weekend involvement is expected every third weekend, covering 6:00 pm to 2:00 am based on experience - Holiday and call coverage may be required, dependent on manager evaluation and experience - Average caseload is 40 scans during weekdays and 10 scans on weekends - Job duties include conducting general radiography and CT studies, including administering contrast - No responsibility for starting IVs is required - Orientation up to 1 week on day shift with minimal Epic EMR training provided - Travelers may be required to work alone at times - Scrubs should be wine color if possible, otherwise any solid professional color is acceptable - Radiology manager serves as departmental lead, with 24/7 teleradiology support - Department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants Requirements - Minimum of 1 year CT and X-ray technologist experience - Current ARRT and BLS certifications required - Ability to administer contrast and perform general CT and X-ray studies (no CT-guided procedures or IR)- Experience working independently and transferring patients - Familiarity with Epic EMR and Novarad PACS preferred - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-645734.
