The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of real estate matters, including real estate closings, leases, and other real estate law-related aspects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-profile real estate transactions, providing strategic advice and counsel to our clients. Responsibilities: 1. Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and development agreements. 2. Conduct thorough real estate closings, ensuring all legal and financial obligations are met by all parties involved. 3. Provide legal advice on a wide variety of real estate matters, including property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, zoning, and land use. 4. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure seamless legal coverage for clients. 5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations, and inform clients of any changes that may affect their real estate transactions. 6. Represent the firm in court proceedings, if necessary, and effectively communicate complex legal concepts and arguments. 7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with exceptional service and legal advice. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the TX state bar. 3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on real estate closings, leases, and acquisition of land parcels 4. Proficient in legal research and writing. 5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to draft and interpret complex legal documents. 6. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations. 7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and other attorneys. 8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
