However, the company seeks to accelerate and formalize this function moving from tactical deal execution to a strategic, growth-oriented model that aligns globally and drives meaningful business outcomes. This SVP, Strategic Partnerships role is a rare opportunity to: Shape a new growth engine at one of the most innovative companies in AdTech. Operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, building a new global function with direct impact on TTDs revenue trajectory. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with top leadership, including the CRO and CEO, to drive transformative outcomes in monthsnot years. THE ROLE The Trade Desk (TTD) is defining a new senior executive role to lead its global Strategic and Channel Partnerships function a transformative growth pillar supporting the companys next chapter of expansion across commerce, retail media, and emerging technology ecosystems. Reporting directly to the CRO, this Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships will architect and scale a modern partnership strategy that deepens value creation across TTDs global go-to-market engine. This role will attract a senior commercial leader who thrives in high-growth, high-impact environments someone energized by ambiguity, transformation, and building what doesnt yet exist. The SVP, Strategic Partnerships will oversee the vision, strategy, and execution of The Trade Desks non-data partnership ecosystem. This includes ownership of strategic and channel partners globally, with a mandate to grow and operationalize partnerships post-deal ensuring sustained value, integration, and impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Define and Lead Partnership Strategy: Develop a comprehensive roadmap for global strategic and channel partnerships, aligned with corporate and go-to-market objectives. Expand Global Footprint: Drive international partnership expansion across North America, EMEA, APAC, China, and India, particularly within retail and commerce ecosystems. Manage and Grow Partnerships: Oversee ongoing partnership management post-deal, ensuring operational success, mutual growth, and cross-functional alignment. Innovate and Build: Identify and prioritize new partnership opportunities that unlock incremental revenue and strategic advantage (e.g., Shopify, OpenAI). Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product and Data Partnerships teams to ensure clear boundaries, seamless handoffs, and complementary strategies. Lead with Commercial Agility: Operate with a builders mindset able to scale programs, create structure from ambiguity, and accelerate results. Proven success scaling complex commercial or partnership ecosystems within high-growth, technology-driven environments. Deep understanding of the AdTech, media, or commerce landscape including platform, retail, and emerging tech ecosystems. Strong global perspective; experience managing across regions and cultural contexts. Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments; comfort with ambiguity and evolving scope. Track record of managing through transformation and building scalable, repeatable frameworks. Executive presence and credibility to collaborate with Csuite peers and external partners alike. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.
