Tax Senior Associate

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will prepare federal and state tax returns. This will be a hands-on role reporting into the Tax Director. Work from home 2 days per week - Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for C-corp, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations - Assist with the development/implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities - Coordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries - Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to the appropriate stakeholders - Work collaboratively with external tax advisors and consultants as needed Minimum Requirements for the Tax Associate Position: Bachelor's degree or equivalent Demonstrated interest in the Tax field Minimum Requirements for the Senior Tax Associate Position: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 2+ years of relevant and progressive tax accounting experience System savvy and proficient in Excel Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
